where did March go?

I finished reading my first novel in Dutch. Lieven bought this book for me and Achiel when they came visit us last year. Achiel read it first and then I accepted the challenge of reading fiction in Dutch. I loved it. I loved talking about it with Achiel, and understanding that I was actually getting the whole story (with some details that Achiel didn't get when he read it :D).

And yes, Klara en de Zon, or Klara and the Sun, is a great book. Is the kind of weird fiction that I like. The rhythm doesn't change much, it can be boring sometimes, you feel like waiting for something big to happen, but still Kazuo Ishiguro keeps you interested and intrigued. Highly recommended!

NEVOU NO ÚLTIMO DIA DE MARÇO, E ALGO MUDOU EM MIM PROFUNDAMENTE.

Na manhã do dia da neve fomos ao cinema assistir "Drive My Car". É Murakami, então o apelo sexual de algumas cenas e a forçação de barra em exibir corpos femininos nus estão lá (principalmente na primeira parte do filme, antes que o filme realmente comece). O que me interessou foi a teatralidade dupla, do filme em si e da história que é contada. Porém, para mim, o ponto forte é a atuação de Park Yoo Rim. Sem ela eu provavelmente não teria gostado tanto do filme. Caiu uma lagriminha na cena em que ela tem quase um monólogo no palco. Maravilhosa!
